The St. Lucia Chamber of Commerce, Industry & Agriculture and the St. Lucia Development Bank is collaborating to inform MSMEs affected by the pandemic, valuable information on how their businesses or homes can benefit from the Climate Adaptation Financing Facility(CAFF).
The CAFF provides relief to the MSME community by providing a mixed loan/grant facility to potential borrowers with the grant being used to incentivize the adoption of climate smart technology and liquidity support to via concessionary loan funding to MSMEs to assist them to recover and becoming more resilient.
The purpose of the Seminar is to give interested MSMEs the critical information they need so they can access the financing available. This will include a more profound and thorough understanding of the CAFF, its conditions, prerequisites and methodology required to successfully access the Fund.
Presentations will be made from Mr. Barrington Dolcy from B Difference on Making a financial case. Mr. Andrew George of NEMO discussing the ever important Business Continuity Plan.
