The St. Lucia Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture hosted another informative Workshop for its members particularly the Small and Medium Sized firms among its membership. “How to Access Available Concessions, Incentives and Support Programs” was delivered by a team of Presenters during a full Seminar on Thursday 26th May, 2022.
With the support of dedicated partners from the Bank of Saint Lucia and Invest Saint Lucia the Chamber was able to ensure that this workshop materialized. The Seminar not only spoke to what incentives and concessions were available to Business, but the focus was on the "how to" aspect.
Presentations were made by the Bank of Saint Lucia, Ms. Janelle Beaubrun who spoke to the ECPCGC Startup Guarantee Programme.
The Ministry of Tourism shared information on the package of Incentives for the Tourism Sector with emphasis on "The Community Tourism Programme”.
The Ministry of Commerce, Manufacturing Investment, Enterprise Development and Consumer Affairs also addressed the how to on the incentives and concession program managed by the Ministry.
The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, Food Security and Rural Development, was effectively represented by, Mr. Barry Innocent, Deputy Director of Agricultural Services who shared with participants the Ministry’s basket of incentives containing the Agricultural and Fisheries Incentives, whilst the Saint Lucia Development Bank (SLDB) gave a thorough demonstration of SLBD’s Products available to MSMEs.
